Every driver needs to know the driving rules when it comes to overtaking.

We know it is important to follow a safe distance, adhere to the speed limit, and overtake when the coast is clear, but this BMW driver did the opposite by not minding his surroundings before overtaking this truck.

Taken from the point of video of the truck driver, the narrator begins.

“I need to tell you something. If the roads are jammed and you just came out of a junction, don’t try to cut off a lorry because we can’t see you!”

Pointing that lorries have blindspots, the car simply ignored this fact and tried to drive his way from the left side of the road, resulting in his car being reasonably scratched.

They added, “We’re not saying that you can’t make your way to the right lane, but do it when there is a car on the right lane, that way, both of you can see each other.”

Taking to the comments section, netizens agreed with the lorry driver’s outburst.

“It’s not that they can’t see, they remain ignorant that lorries can’t see them very well.”

Pointing to the fact that the BMW had police stickers on it, netizens had this to say.

“As a police officer, I can’t believe that you don’t know the law.”

We sincerely hope that the matter is resolved and that both parties keep their cool.
