Blood donation drives are super critical towards conversing human life, especially for accident victims, women enduring pregnancy and childbirth complications and more.

Plus, donating blood comes with a bunch of benefits too!

The National Blood Centre needs your help. Taking to their official Facebook page, they shared how their blood donation drive at 1 Utama Shopping Centre isn’t receiving the attention they need.

Blood 2

They wrote, “Yesterday, we only managed to obtain eight bags of blood at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. Today, up until 1pm in the afternoon, we only obtained one bag of blood. If you are in the area of this location and have some free time, please come help us stock up on blood.”

While it is understandable that many (including us) are afraid of needles, donating blood is such a fantastic way to face that fear while also contributing to society and helping your fellow community members.

So, if you’re available and willing to help, you can head on over to Basement 2, Highstreet @ 1 Utama Shopping Centre, from 11am to 7pm. They’re open every day, ready to welcome eager blood donors.

“Present yourself. Perform your social responsibility. Donate blood for Keluarga Malaysia!”
