The first of its kind in our country, MVM19 has a fully digital preliminary stage whereby applicants only need to register online with a photo and video profile to participate. Fitting for such a prestigious beauty pageant, MVM19 was launched at a glittering event back in 16th March at Four Seasons Hotel KLCC. Hosted by the ever-lovely Malaysian model and actress Amelia Henderson and attended by A-list celebrities and beauty queens such as Adeline Tsen, Serene Claire and Shannen Jade, it was definitely a night to remember!

Puan Sri Dr Susan Cheah also made an appearance as a guest of honour which showcases how glamorous and illustrious this new pageant is!

Judging more than just their external appearance, the contestants will also be assessed through their knowledge, personality and character in order to find the first-ever Miss Virtual Malaysia!

In preparation for the pageant, MVM2019 will be conducting a roadshow taking place this 3rd to 4th August at LG2, Sunway Pyramid. The 2 days roadshow will feature awesome activities you can take part in, including:

3 Aug (Saturday):

  • 12:00PM-Serene Claire (Miss Malaysia World 2015 2nd Runner Up)
  • 3:00PM-Dewi Liana Seriestha (Miss Malaysia World 2014 Champion)

4 Aug (Sunday):

  • 12:00PM-Sanjna Suri (Miss Supranational 2018 and Miss Intercontinental 2017)
  • 3:00PM-Venice Min (Celebrity Model/Actress)

How you can be part of Malaysian pageant history with MVM19

So how do you participate in MVM19 and be part of our nation’s pageant history? It’s all quite simple really, just follow these steps below:

1. Submit your application online

  • Applicants must complete and submit an online application with a recent photo along with an introductory video highlighting the skills and talents here.

2. Attend a face-to-face audition on 17th August 2019

  • The shortlisted top 40 applicants will qualify for the next round, which is a face-to-face audition.
  • The selection is based on the top 10 most popular votes and top 30 most votes by professional judges.
    Selection is based on the 10 most popular votes by the public and 30 votes by professional judges.

3. Pageant week and Grand Final on 26 September 2019

  • A total of 18 finalists will take part in the final
