If there’s one place Malaysians can lose track of time and money, it’s Daiso.
During the MCO, many of us channeled our free time into taking up new hobbies, re-decorating our homes and maybe just a little bit of retail therapy. Regardless if you’re an experienced online shopaholic or a novice Shopee browser who only empties your cart out of necessity, Daiso going online is great news for everybody!
In late June, Daiso announced that it was moving online on Facebook: “We are happy to announce Daiso online store has launched at Shoppee. New shopping style. Easier and faster shopping experience.”
Gone are the days where we wait for hours in a traffic jam waiting to get into the mall or circulating the parking lot a hundred times before finally finding a free bay. With Daiso’s new online store, you can do all your shopping for useful, affordable tools from the comfort of your home.
While not all categories of items are available online, the platform will offer items in home storage, stationery, kitchen and dining tools, beauty tools, personal care, groceries and pets and housekeeping and laundry.
Before you ask, yes-everything is still priced at RM5.90. However, a small delivery charge will apply. But if there’s one thing that this MCO has taught us, it’s is how convenient online shopping is. Is driving all the way to the mall and paying for parking really worth it?
What do you guys think of this? Would you shop for Daiso online?
