With the sinkhole victim yet to be found, another sunken road in Masjid India has been spotted. This time, it’s just 50 meters away from the sinkhole.
The sunken road was spotted by BERNAMA this morning (August 28), just outside the police booth in Masjid India. The road is believed to have sunk at 2:30 AM following the heavy downpour and at the time of writing, the area has been cordoned off from public access.
In the meantime, no injuries or deaths were reported. Dang Wangi district’s chief police, ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman was also spotted at the scene observing the sunken road and the sinkhole as the search for the victim goes on.
On Monday night (August 26), a drain at Kampung Kerinchi, KL collapsed, leaving a huge hole in a part of the walkway. DBKL was quick to respond, take action and close off the area.
