The monsoon season is here, and certain areas have been hit by flash floods. People who are bound to be affected by the disaster are racking their brains to come up with solutions to prevent as much damage as they can.
Yesterday (December 2), in order to help the people cope with the disaster, His Majesty The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong has given 5 fiber boats to the people in Pekan, Pahang in preparation for the monsoon season, before the floods hit the area.
The King has also reminded the recipients to share the boats with others who are affected by the flood, and not to keep them for personal use.
The boats came with safety jackets, which will ease rescue jobs during the flood. But those are not the only items that the King has given to the people there.
“His Majesty has also given personal contributions and daily necessities to some of the people there.”
The items were given to the people after His Majesty performed Friday prayers with the people in Pekan.

His Majesty’s contributions to the people to prepare for the flood season has received praise from many Malaysians, who expressed their gratitude in the comment sections.
The flash floods which took place late last year prompted many Malaysians, including politicians to come down to the field and personally assisted the victims. Hopefully, if the floods strike again this year, as Malaysians, we can always unite and help the needy as much as we can.
