Our delivery riders sure have to go through a lot when it comes to the requests of customers. From being asked to take out the trash, to being sent to a graveyard, they sure do go through a lot on a daily basis.

In a similar instance, a delivery rider recently took to Twitter to share a strange request he received from a customer. In the post by @syafiqunzir, it shows that the customer had offered to pay him RM12.50 + RM5 to dispose of something.

Dispose

However, the requests was a little too specific and strange. In the notes section, the customer specifically asked for Syafiq to throw away something into the river near Sunway Pyramid and that conditions for the job is that the person has to be Muslim and be able to read out prayers.

The customer then clarified that the item is an old glass bottom which is wrapped in some cloth.

In his post, Syafiq asked netizens on whether they’d accept such jobs or report them.

It’s a curse!

Syafiq’s post has since gone viral with plenty of netizens commenting on the matter. The majority of them said that if it were them, no amount of money would be worth it to do such jobs.

“They’re trying to pass it to you. They can easily go dispose of it themselves but the thing comes back to the original owner. Better not to get involved,” said a user.

Meanwhile, some users made jokes about the amount of money being offered and that the customer should at least offered a fairer form of compensation for asking the deliverer to get involved in it.

“The amount being offered is not equal to the efforts of the rider to dispose of the devil and end up bring it back home.”

“At least mark up the price a bit if you have to throw away a ghost,” commented a user.
