During the whole of 2020 and 2021, it has been hard for us to get many things done. This includes going to any government counters to sort our documents out or to renew our license.

It has been announced in BERNAMA’s Twitter thread that the Transport Minister has said that they have extended the renewal period for driving license and road tax till 31 December.

Other than that, the PUSPAKOM and JPJ counters will be opened with 100% capacity for walk-in starting from 6 September. There will not be any more appointments. Those who wish to go to the JPJ counters will have to make sure that they are fully vaccinated and that their risk status is low in MySejahtera.

In his press conference, he has said that those with expired road tax should make sure that their vehicle insurance is still valid. They must also display their insurance e-cover note so that the authorities can check.

This is certainly a very good thing! What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments.
