Money pulling cakes have been trending for quite some time now.

If you don’t know what a money-pulling cake is, it is basically a regular cake that has cash hidden inside of it. It’s a great gift idea for those who would like to give something “extra” to the birthday boy or girl.

Recently, a screenshot of a conversation between a customer and a baker went viral on social media, after the customer reached out to the baker to place an order for a money-pulling cake.

In the screenshot, the customer inquired about the price of the money cake, to which the baker replied saying it depends on the design of the cake itself.

Money Cake 1

Customer: Assalam sis. I would like to ask sis if got make money-pulling cake

Baker: Wassalam. Got.

Customer: How’s the price like sis?

Baker: Price follows the design dik. Send me the design, Akak will give the price.

The customer then sent a picture of the cake design, to which the baker gave an estimated price of over RM200. The customer then agreed to it and told the baker that he/she would like to insert about RM1,000 into the cake.

The baker then said the total will be RM1,230 for the cake. The customer was shocked as she thought the RM1,000 inside the cake is included with the price of RM230.

Customer: The RM200 already include the money inside the cake?

Baker: How much do you want to put inside the cake?

Customer: I want to put RM1000 inside the cake.

Baker: Okay, if like that the total will be RM1230, including the cake price.

Customer: Eh why suddenly RM1230? Sis said the cake is RM200 plus only.

Baker: Yalah. The cake is RM230 and you said you want RM1000 to pull out. So it’s like that.

Customer: What even sis. I pay RM230 only. The RM1000 is already included with that price.

Baker: So the RM1000 I have to sponsor is it?

The post has since garnered over 7,200 shares, 2,600 likes and 13,000 comments, all of which netizens found the conversation absolutely hilarious!
