6 Hilarious Reasons Why Malaysians are Total Opposites to Justice League Characters

[Test] 6 Hilarious Reasons Why Malaysians Are Total Opposites To Justice League Characters - World Of Buzz

As Malaysians, there are plenty of things that make us a pretty unique set of people. Granted, we do have a lot of amazing qualities, but come to think of it, we do display some traits that definitely make us nothing like certain comic book characters, especially characters from the Justice League.

Here are just some of the reasons why:

1. The infamous Malaysian Timing of ours

The Flash always gets everywhere in the nick of time thanks to his super speed. He’s fast in his thinking and is undoubtedly that one reliable friend who gets the job done way ahead of the deadline.

Us Malaysians unfortunately are the exact opposite of this, as most of us love to put things off to the very last minute, hence our infamous “Malaysian timing.”

Malaysian timing causes us to be AT LEAST 10-20 minutes late for any meeting or social gathering regardless of the circumstances. But we all know the standard ‘late gap’ is 30 minutes.

Needless to say, this would make us Malaysians absolutely useless in the Justice League. We’d probably be late for all of their meetings and miss out on all the crime-fighting because we’d perpetually be “on the way”.

2. The weather is too hot and humid to wear their cool costumes

Ok lah, we know the brightly coloured hair trend that The Joker and Harley Quinn sport is all-the-rage, but would you don a purple alligator skin trench coat or leather micro shorts with fishnet stockings in Malaysia’s crazily humid weather?

Malaysians definitely tend to wear simple clothes to battle the heat and humidity. T-shirt and slippers anyone?

If we were to dress like Harley and the Joker, we’d definitely be too drenched in sweat to actually get up to proper “villainous” shenanigans! But hey, maybe we could defeat our nemesis by the sheer stink of our ketiaks?

3. We’re too kedekut to buy expensive equipment

Face it, even if some of us do have the cash, are Malaysians really willing to part with their money?

Growing up Asian, we’ve been taught not to simply splurge money. So, we would definitely think twice before buying all the cool weapons, tech, vehicles and gear superheroes like Cyborg and Batman have on hand.

I mean, for goodness sake, most of us are still paying off our student loans, lah!

4. Malaysian traffic

Although the Batmobile is probably one of the coolest cars ever, it would be pretty useless especially in Malaysian cities, where soul-crushing traffic jams are a daily occurrence.

What’s the point of having the coolest car on Earth when you’re just going to get stuck in traffic for hours? The bad guys would definitely get away by the time we reach the crime scene!

5. We can’t get away with their revealing outfits

A lot of Malaysians tend to be quite conservative, in terms of their views as well as their dress sense. Can you imagine a lady dressing up like her in Malaysian streets??

Unlike Wonder Woman, most of us probably can’t get away with wearing such revealing costumes while looking confident and fighting like a badass at the same time anyway.

I mean, just look at her! It takes a certain level of awesomeness to be able to pull this look off!

6. Ultimately, we can’t give up our delicious fatty Malaysian food

Judging from Superman and Aquaman with their incredible super strength and buff bodies, we know they definitely lead very healthy lifestyles

This is where most Malaysians probably fall short, since we love our Roti Chanai, Nasi Lemak, and Char Kuay Teow just to name a few. Malaysian food aren’t exactly the healthiest dishes around, so you can see why Malaysians can’t survive long in battle if we’re on a diet like this!

We walk two steps also complaining already man!

Now, although we aren’t exactly fit (geddit geddit?) to be Justice League characters, at least we can still collect over 22 different designs of their merchandise from 7-Eleven for FREE! And also stuff ourselves with more food.
