In Budget 2021 today, Finance Minister, Tengku Zafrul Tengku Aziz, stated the frontliners have battled the Covid-19 virus since last year. Frontliners who’ve been on duty have been receiving a payment of RM600 monthly since March 2020.

To further show their appreciation, the government will give a one-off payment of RM500 to the Ministry of Health’s frontliners and about 100,000 frontliners will benefit from this.
