How many of you have been eagerly anticipating for a visit to the barbershop or hair salon? Going back to work looking like you have a bird’s nest on the top of your head must be the new fashion for most corporate offices by now.

Well, don’t worry about having a bird’s nest for much longer, because it has been revealed that the government will be hosting a special committee meeting come this Saturday (6th May 2020).

As mentioned by the Minister of Defence Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri yesterday (2nd May 2020), this special committee meeting will be finalising all the necessary SOPs for a number of businesses and sectors, including:

  1. Barber shops and hair/beauty salons
  2. Night markets
  3. Farmers markets
  4. Solat Jemaah prayers

So if all goes well, it is expected that some of these sectors may be finally allowed to operate under regulated SOPs, according to The Star.

Are you guys expecting hair salons and barbers to finally open?
