It’s here guys! Road Transport Department has updated their SOP, and starting from June 2020, there will be no JPJ officer sitting in the passenger seat while you drive for your driving test.

JPJ lead director Datuk Seri Shaharuddin Khalid said the test will be conducted through electronic automation (CCTV) and the result will be generated through computers.

The JPJ officer will be monitoring and giving orders to the candidates from the control room. This will help increase the department’s integrity as well as help students to focus on the driving test.

Road Transport Department has chosen 3 driving schools in Johor to test the system before implementing it across the whole nation this June.

We guess it’s bye-bye to the officers now. Everyone who will be taking their JPJ test in June should feel more than happy that you won’t be having an officer to judge you while you cover the seat with sweat!
