AG Office Kena Lockdown, Blocked With Barbed-wire Fencing

An image of what seems to be the Attorney-General’s office in Putrajaya has been circulating on social media.

No, it’s not just any ordinary image. It appears that the access to the office has been sealed off with barbed-wire fencing and to be on lockdown!

The Sun had reached out to the AG and it was confirmed that the roads leading up to the building has been blocked off.

Since Dr. M became PM, he has taken quick measures to address the unresolved issues that has been plaguing the nation, one of which involves the AG himself. The AG had allegedly concealed evidence of former Prime Minister Najib’s wrongdoings in the 1MDB scandal. As such, Dr. M has mentioned that a probe will need to be carried out to discover the truth.

 

“If he has hidden evidence, that is a wrongdoing. That is wrong in law,” Mahathir said.

The AG himself later issued a statement denying any wrongdoing. “My conscience is clear,” he said.

Besides the AG, other parties such as MACC and EC will also be under investigation for corruption. Haaa, kantoi!
