It’s no secret that those who have to run errands at government offices tend to have to wait around to get their business done.

But those who need to do so at the Wangsa Maju Road Transport Department (JPJ) might have to wait longer.

The JomPinjam.Com TikTok recently shared a video showcasing a leak in the ceiling at the Wangsa Maju JPJ that caused what looks like a full on waterfall at their branch.

In the video showcased, the ‘waterfall’ could be seen spewing all over the counters and soaking their electronics. JPJ staff, on the other hand, had to walk around in a small flood at the branch.

According to a report by Kosmo, JPJ has assured the general public that the branch’s operations are still open as per usual.

“Only the affected area (has been temporarily closed) and not the whole building,”

“There are only a few sections that had to be closed for the repair process including the driver’s licensing section, but not all areas were affected by the flood,” shared Deputy Director General of JPJ for Planning and Operations, Aedy Fadly Ramli.

He added that the major leak was caused an overflow of rainwater yesterday (May 7).

So, if you’re looking to get your driver’s license done, perhaps steer clear of Wangsa Maju branch for the time being.
