Valentine’s Day is most definitely a commercial holiday where gifting your significant other is the point of the whole celebration.

This Valentine’s day, an 8-year-old boy in Yiyang, Hunan, China gifted a very expensive necklace to his female classmate.

According to Headline News on Weibo, it is said that the girl’s mother, Miss Tang went to pick up the child after school and was told that a boy gave her a necklace.

The girl had rejected the boy but the boy insisted that she accept the gift.

Miss Tang took a look at the necklace and was sure that it was expensive. She then asked her daughter to return it to the boy at school the following day.

She also contacted the boy’s mother and asked about the necklace. It turns out that the boy had taken the diamond and platinum necklace worth 20,000 yuan (RM12,878) from his mother without asking.

However, the boy’s mother asked Miss Tang to keep the necklace as it has already been gifted to her daughter.

After getting to know that it costs so much, Miss Tang returned the necklace to the boy’s mother at school the next day.

The little casanova might not have known that taking his parent’s possession is also considered stealing. We hope that this is a lesson that he will learn.
