Expressing gratitude to your teachers on Teacher’s Day is a meaningful gesture to acknowledge their dedication to their students. But it’s not every day that you get to see students giving jewellery to their teachers as a thank you.
In a recent TikTok video that’s been circulating online, @nurashikindin shares a clip of her, her husband and her son walking into a jewellery store in Kedah.
A special gift for his teachers!
The caption of the post reads,
“Teacher’s Day gift 2024 from Hafiy Hadeef for his teachers. Special thanks to Ammar for helping wrap Hafiy’s beautiful Teacher’s Day gifts.”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Ashikin shared how her 7-year-old son, Hafiy, wanted to get something special for his teachers to celebrate Teacher’s Day.
She continued to explain that the idea came from her, as she herself would often buy gold bars from the jewellery store every end of the month after receiving her salary.
“I would spend at the jewellery store every month buying gold bars every time I get my salary for investment purposes. That’s where I got the idea to give something from store.”
Bracelets for 10 of his favourite teachers
Ashikin further shared that Hafiy had planned to purchase bracelets for 10 of his favorite teachers from his school.
She went on to reveal that upon reaching home, Hafiy mentioned that he was considering buying 3 more bracelets to give to the canteen makcik at his school, showing his appreciation and kindness.
“He mentioned wanting to buy more bracelets, but this time for 3 of the canteen makcik. However, we didn’t make the purchase that night. We’ll definitely do it in the future.”
