69yo S’porean Gets Stabbed & Dies After Demanding Neighbour’s Apology for Allegedly Bumping into Him

On December 22, a Singaporean man got into a heated argument that quickly turned physical after he confronted his neighbour at Block 805 King George’s Avenue residents for allegedly bumping into him.

According to China Press, the 69-year-old decided to approach his 79-year-old neighbour, even bringing a stick to demand an explanation and an apology.

His neighbour pulled out a knife

When his neighbour refused to apologise, a fight broke out between them, with the neighbour pulling out a knife in self-defence, causing blood to spill everywhere.

After the altercation, the 69-year-old went downstairs but collapsed at the elevator entrance. It’s reported that he had heart problems and was later pronounced dead.

The neighbour was arrested for intentionally causing harm

In an interview with China Press, the police stated that preliminary investigations revealed the 2 men had an argument that escalated into a fight, leaving one injured and unconscious. He later died in the hospital.

The neighbour involved in the incident has been arrested on charges of intentionally causing harm in a dangerous manner.

The police also revealed that investigations are still ongoing as they gather further details surrounding the incident.
