These Instagram-worthy places have all the colours of the rainbow (literally) to brighten up your feed. There might not be any pot of gold waiting for you at these spots but you can surely get the perfect OOTD shot.
Follow these trails to visit the most rainbowy hotspots around Klang Valley:
1. Jalan Alor Street Art @ Bukit Bintang
This colourful treasure lies among the busy streets nearby Changkat, Bukit Bintang. The entire back alley is filled with dazzling murals along the walls and even the floor.
What you should know:
- These colourful murals were part of the city’s transformational programme to turn these back alleys into pockets of sunshine.
- There are two art streets in Jalan Alor that are located very close to each other so be sure to visit them both. Don’t worry, entry is absolutely free!
- Alor Street is also known for having truckloads of yummy street food that you can try.

2. Rainbow Walkway @ Pusat Sains Negara
This rainbow-coloured dome located in Pusat Sains Negara Kuala Lumpur is definitely a show-stopper.
What you should know:
- These rainbow coloured walls are not just a treat from the inside of the building, but it is also very noticeable and just as pleasant-looking when seen from the streets.
- Apart from the walkway, this is a great place to bring your family to and learn about science from the various interesting exhibitions.
- The entrance fee ranges from only RM6 for adults & RM3 for young children.

3. Rainbow Bridge @ Elmina Valley
This newly opened Rainbow Bridge located in Elmina Valley Park has already garnered loads of visitors. Taking a walk through its colourful spiral walls will make you feel like you’re walking through a rainbow.
What you should know:
- Elmina City is still a relatively new township so the address of this bridge might be tricky
because it doesn’t have any yet. But don’t worry, just search up Elmina Valley Rainbow Bridge and you’ll be sure to find it. - This is not the only Insta-worthy bridge in Elmina. Just a mere 15-minute walk away, you’ll encounter the Elmina Iconic Bridge. This huge orange-coloured walkway is basically an overhead bridge that connects to Elmina Valley Park.
- The best part about these spots is they are all public spaces so they’re free for all!

4. The LINC @ Kuala Lumpur
The LINC is a nature-themed mall located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and boasts various Insta-worthy spots all throughout the space.
What you should know:
- One of the most Insta-worthy spots in The LINC is the installation of 41,600 paper doves in 40 different colours, creating this beautiful rainbow-themed floating installation.
- The LINC has a green concept that promotes sustainability and environmental preservation, as evidenced by their 100-year-old Bodhi tree centrepiece.
- Various murals can be seen on the walls of this mall that are painted by local and international artists.

5. Batu Caves @ Gombak
This place is probably the most famous one on this list since it’s also one of our most treasured national icons. We’ve also seen these colourful stairs featured on news sites as well as on IG accounts belonging to various international artists that have visited our country.
What you should know:
- The Batu Caves repainting work was done back in 2018 and it has successfully proven its aim to attract more visitors, be it the locals or international tourists as well.
- In case you haven’t been counting, the Batu Caves stairs have a total of 272 steps. So make sure you’re donning a more comfortable OOTD when visiting this place.
- Two things you need to be prepared for: the huge crowd as well as the naughty monkeys!
- There’s no entrance fee for you to climb the stairs and visit the temple but feel free to make a contribution to the donation box.

6. Floating Umbrella @ Empire Damansara
These floating umbrellas might seem simple but the view from underneath, while the sun is shining, can transform your plain OOTD shots instantly.
What you should know:
- The umbrellas are not the only attraction at Empire Damansara. The whole building has a classic urban design to it that turns any spot into a rusticly aesthetic shot.
- You can find these floating umbrellas along the corridor of the ground floor so don’t worry, it won’t cost you anything to take a picture with them.
- While dropping by Empire Damansara, don’t miss dining at the various cafes & restaurants that you can find here.
- The building has an open flow concept so it is basically always open. So if you’re looking to just take pictures, then drop by anytime!
