A 29-year-old man who was believed to have drowned was found dead after the motorcycle he was riding plunged into the sea when it skidded off the pier at the Marine Transportation Training Institute (ILPL) in Pulau Indah on May 5.
According to Kosmo, his body was discovered around 8:17 AM, roughly 200 meters from where he had fallen, following a two-day search operation.

“Two men reportedly fell off the pier”
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department’s Assistant Operations Director, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said they received an emergency call regarding the incident at approximately 10:53 PM on Saturday.
He added that a total of eight personnel, including officers from the Pulau Indah and Port Klang Fire and Rescue Stations, were deployed to the scene to carry out the search and rescue operation.
“Preliminary information indicated that two men were believed to have fallen off the pier along with a motorcycle after it had skidded,” he said.

The other victim was rescued by the public
Ahmad Mukhlis added that one of the victims, a man in his 30s, was successfully rescued by members of the public shortly after the incident. However, the second victim remained missing at the time.
He explained that the search operation, carried out by the Water Rescue Team, eventually led to the discovery of the victim’s body not far from the location where he had reportedly slipped and fallen into the sea.
Ahmad Mukhlis also confirmed that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and his remains were handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
