Other netizens were filled with rage and criticised the actions of the condominium management involved as they had taken action without consulting the instructions from the authorities first.

Netizens blasted their thoughts in the comment section of the post and even advised the management of the condominium to look at and re-read the instructions issued by the National Security Council (MKN) regarding the use of face masks for children.

The post has since garnered over 720 shares and 1,400 comments.

For everyone’s information, as Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob had announced before, children under the age of 2 years old are not required to wear masks. Click here to watch his announcement.

Earlier this evening, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced in a press conference stating that the action of the condominium management was wrong.

“Up till today, we did not give any power to the management of any condominiums and apartments or any other offices to take action [of issuing fines],” he said.

“This is not the authority of the management. This is the authority of KKM or the police. The rest are not allowed to [issue fines],” he added.

WORLD OF BUZZ has since reached out to the condominium management for comment but has received no response so far.
