Couples running away leaving their family behind is usually depicted as somewhat romantic and brave on television. However, this is reality people! Doing such a thing is actually extremely worrying for the family okay? Especially if the girl is only 14-years old.

On January 30, a 14-year-old teenager, Voo Zi Rou allegedly ran away with her boyfriend after she left with the pretense of using the washroom. The incident took place at a restaurant in Jalan Teluk Sisek, Kuantan, Harian Metro reported.

The 44-year-old aunt, Voo Lee Ling said that Zi Rou told her family she wanted to use the washroom. However, she was nowhere to be found after that.

“I waited for almost 30 minutes. I looked for her everywhere but still couldn’t find her,” Lee Ling said.

A police report was lodged on the same day after they failed to find Zi Rou.

According to her aunt, this was already the SECOND time Zi Rou ran away since she came back from Cambodia in early January. The nerve of this child!

“She came back to Malaysia to celebrate Chinese New Year with her father’s family,” her aunt said.

Previously she was staying in Cambodia with her father.

“The first time Zi Rou went missing was on January 8 when she was at her grandfather’s house in Shah Alam, Selangor. However, she was found in Kampung Jawa the next day, together with her 17-year-old boyfriend,” said Lee Ling.

The aunt is very worried about the safety of Zi Rou since she is still underage.

“I’m very sure that my niece is with her boyfriend, which is why I’m pleading him to send Zi Rou back to her family. I hope the public can be on the look out for Zi Rou as well and contact the authority if anyone sees her.”

The fact that she pulled off such a dramatic ‘escape’ from her family twice is just unbelievable. She’s definitely going somewhere in future, but first, please go home first.
