A 15-year-old girl went missing in Batu Pahat, Johor, yesterday (April 28), and her mother has a suspect in mind.

In a missing persons notice shared on Facebook, the family suspected a man named “Ah Long” may have abducted 15-year-old Yi Xuan.

She went missing less than a week ago, but eventually returned home

According to the police report lodged on April 23, the family was told by the school management that their daughter was picked up by a Chinese man who drove a Proton Waja. No one knew where they were headed at that time.

Fearing for her safety, the mother lodged a police report, and on the same day, Yi Xuan returned home safely.

However, Yi Xuan refused to tell her family where she was taken to, and she remained silent about what happened after she was picked up by “Ah Long”.

So far, the family only knows that “Ah Long”, who is in his 40s, was introduced to the family by a friend of Yi Xuan’s grandfather.

“We don’t always keep in touch, so I don’t even know his real name, or what he does for a living,” Yi Xuan’s mum told Sin Chew.

She’s missing again

Yi Xuan’s grandparents were out on the morning of April 28 to get their granddaughter breakfast, and upon returning home, they noticed that Yi Xuan had disappeared.

She was last seen wearing a yellow top and a blue denim skirt on the day of her disappearance and was believed to have left home around 7 AM without informing anyone. The family tried to contact Yi Xuan and the man’s mobile phones, but both were unreachable.

They also paid a visit to “Ah Long’s” house, but no one was there. At the time of writing, the family has searched all the known places Yi Xuan frequently visits.

If you have any information about the missing teen, you can contact her mother, Su, at 011-1099 5864, or her grandfather at 016-7849778, or report to the nearest police station.
