1 Utama & Tropicana Golf Club Ordered To Close Down From 11 October

The Petaling District Disaster Management Committee today announced that 1 Utama shopping complex and Tropicana Golf Club & Country Resort,  will be closed on Oct 11 following the spread of the Covid-19 case.

As reported by FMT, Johary Anuar, the chairman of the committee said that this is due to four positive cases reported in 1 Utama and five positives cases in Tropicana Golf Club. He explained,

“We are requesting the cooperation of the public who have visited these two places, to come forward and get tested for Covid-19. Specifically for those who have visited the cosmetics and fragrance section, Level G, Parkson Elite between September 30 and October 7 and Mac City, Level 2, between September 25 to September 30. The closure of the shopping complex and golf club will begin on October 11 for the purpose of screening for all close contacts and conduct a disinfection process.”

For those who want to get themselves screened because they were at these places within the dates stated, the Petaling District Health Office will conduct a Covid-19 health screening at One Utama on October 14 and 15, from 9 am to 2 pm. If you or anyone you know has been to 1 Utama and Tropicana Golf Club, hopefully, you can get yourselves screened. Together we can curb the spread of the virus.
