Some people saved up for months during the “torturous” wait for the release of Apple’s iPhone 16. Two lucky individuals, however, didn’t need to spend a single cent on the brand-new device.

Married Malaysian YouTubers, Jeff & Inthira recently gifted 2 new iPhone 16s to their maids as a token of appreciation. The surprising moment was recorded and shared on their YouTube video, where Inthira revealed that she and Jeff would change to new phones after every release.

Their maids, however, were confused as to why the married pair changed phones every time. This time, Jeff and Inthira decided to let the maids experience the fun of changing phones. But first, they had to play a game.

Rock, paper, scissors!

In a way, there was no loser because both Kakaks (as how the YouTubers addressed their maids) were bound to receive their respective new iPhones, but here’s the trick.

The “winner” would get an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and the “loser” would get an iPhone 16.

The Kakak in yellow lost and got the “consolation prize”, while the Kakak in white won the grand prize, and she was so happy that she jumped! Both maids were happy with the new devices in their hands and cried while thanking Jeff and Inthira.

“You are no longer just our “helpers”, you have already become our family,” the YouTubers told the Kakaks.

The iPhones, however, were not their first gift. Previously, Jeff and Inthira also bought 2 tickets to the Bruno Mars concert in Singapore for their maids.

In the video, Jeff & Inthira also thanked their maids for taking good care of the children over the past two years and hoped that the small gift would make them happy.

To those who have maids or helpers in the house, how do you thank them for taking care of your house amidst your hectic schedule?
