The number of angry drivers in Malaysia seems to be increasing swiftly, as more cases of these people are surfacing on social media. One of the most recent cases was shared by a Facebook user, Effendiey Ismail, who encountered an angry lady when he accidentally blocked her way from exiting the shop at a petrol station.
“So, this incident happened at the Shell station in Bukit Senyum, Johor. This lady was annoyed with me because she said I was blocking her way out from the shop. I was shocked when she kept scolding me, saying that I was blocking her exit. Okay, even if I was in the wrong, you don’t have to keep saying that. I got fed up and told her that there are actually two doors that can be used.”
“She got even more furious at me after I said that and kept berating me all the way back to her car. I didn’t respond, because I didn’t want to get into a silly argument with her but she just wouldn’t stop. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore and started recording a video of the lady and her companions scolding me. One of the men in the car even came down and took a photo of my motorbike number plate.”
“But I didn’t mind, because my motorbike has a clean background anyway. Luckily the lady wasn’t part of the ‘throwing slipper’ gang otherwise I would be celebrating Hari Raya with a slipper mark on my face!” he joked.

The video that Effendiey recorded shows the lady sitting in her car and berating him non-stop while he’s filming. At one point, she says, “You think I’m scared of you because I’m a woman?” and then makes a rude hand gesture at him while a man sitting in the back seat holding a comb tries to calm the situation down.
Of course, the post went viral and it gained more than 5,100 shares in a mere 13 hours. Netizens were slamming the lady’s actions and even compared her to the slipper-throwing lady who became ‘famous’ recently.
Perhaps life is really stressful nowadays, because people seem to be easily provoked by minor issues!
