We’ve always heard that art can be anything but have you ever seen these words when you were driving around in Desa Sri Hartamas? We have and every time we see it, we always wonder who the person behind them was.
Recently, a netizen by the name of Albert Ng posted a compilation of poetic words he found on some random places in Desa Sri Hartamas with the caption: “Who hurt you?”. After approaching Albert, we were redirected to the person behind the writings, Trina Teoh.
Trina is a writer and an artist with a very unique approach to her artistry which she describes it as the following,
“I believe very strongly in the act of love and I want to share that with you. I hope it helps when you see it, maybe it brightens or darkens your day, I just love you and I want to show you every colour.”
Equipped with a paintbrush and paint, Trina goes around to paint on construction walls as she has described them to be “temporary just like certain things in life, like people or thoughts.”
When asked if she’s still continuing with her project, she has confirmed that she is indeed going on with it and in the process of evolving it, so there is definitely more that we can expect from her.
Other than that, she has also been receiving a steady stream of support from Malaysian netizens,
“I am very grateful for the love and support. I hope everyone is holding on together a little tighter during uncertain times, we need each other more than ever now.”
If you want more from Trina, you can follow her on Instagram. Or if you want to purchase her book of prose and some really nice T-shirts, then you can head over to her website over here.
