Driving can be stressful and with the conditions of the road coupled with other drivers’ bad driving antics, keeping calm can be a challenge. However there is no excuse to road rage.

Just yesterday, a Facebook user, Wong Chee Keong uploaded a video of a road rage incident that occurred nearby Sri Damansara Industrial Park. The now viral video which now has close to 1million views, started off showing both cars using a somewhat winding road.
This might have caused the alleged victim’s car to swerve, almost hitting the 4×4. The video continued on showing the 4×4 driver coming down from his vehicle to confront the victim. It was when he jumped back into his vehicle that his road rage got the best of him

The footage showed the 4×4 reversing with intent to ram into the victim’s car and he did so multiple times, causing damage. You can hear the wife of the alleged victim started crying as well. The 4×4 then just sped off leaving the scene.
From the comments on the video, some criticised the owner of the car behind as being the one who provoked the 4×4 driver, while others supported him, even advising him to make 2 police reports; one for the accident and the other for assault.

What can be said about the incident is that usually road rage are caused by stress and anger built up within, which acts like a time bomb waiting to explode. When provoked, kaboom!
So, in order to prevent such incidents from happening, please find a way to destress and for those who like to provoke, please be mindful as well because you might be the next victim of road rage.
