In the video shared by Media Malaysia, the man can be seen yelling after the woman who was already on her hands and knees. He proceeded to kick her and stand menacingly over her fallen body as she tried to scoot away.

The Chief Police of Ampang Jaya, Superintendant Mohd Azam Ismail, said that the police received footage of the incident, “Based on our current investigation, the incident took place in a public place and the victim is believed to have a familial relationship with the suspect,” he said in a statement recorded by Harian Metro.
