There has been a rise in cases of animal abuse in Malaysia which is very disconcerting to see. It’s very troublesome to see how inhumane some people are when it comes to the mistreatment of animals.

Recently, a video of a few men bullying and spraying red paint on a monkey trapped in a cage went viral on Facebook. This one minute thirty second video sparked so much outrage that these men are being hunted by the authorities.

Malaysia Animal Crime Transparency took to their Facebook to share this disturbing video that is believed to have happened in Malaysia based on the background voices by people who seemed to have spoken in Malay.

The video showed a monkey confined in a small cage while a man spray-painted the animal red. The monkey’s distress can be clearly seen and heard while being abused by the perpetrator.
