A creative show by Malaysian primary school students at their school went viral on TikTok recently thanks to their out-of-the-box solution to depicting a camel on stage.
The video, shared by @zuraazaura1389 shows four students doing a presentation on stage for their school’s Islamic education month, with two of them dressed in traditional Arabic attire and the other two joining forces to cosplay as a camel.
Get this, the 2 students wore yellow-coloured pants and put a big cloth on top of their upper bodies with the student on the front holding a cartoon figure of a camel’s head.
Despite the unconventional costume, the setup actually worked quite well, as their heads make it look like the camel’s humps.
Meanwhile, the two other students dressed in Arabic traditional attires were tasked to hold the camel’s ‘tail’ as well as hold a rope tied to the camel’s head.
Throughout the 15-second video, the other students who were watching happily cheered them on. As of the time of writing, the video has garnered over 249,000 views and more than 13,700 likes.
