Malaysian-born, London-based ‘Tube Girl’, Sabrina Bahsoon, gained massive fame online for her infectious confidence after she posted videos of herself dancing in the London Underground, known by UK folks as ‘the Tube’ (hence the nickname ‘Tube Girl’).
Now, she’s using that fame by spreading goodness in the world.
The Geutanyoe Foundation recently took to their Facebook page to showcase how Sabrina is helping Palestinian refugee children by providing them with quality education with her funding.
They wrote, “We at Geutanyoe Malaysia are immensely grateful to Sabrina Bahsoon for her generous support through the Sabrina Bahsoon’s Fund for Palestinian Children’s Education.”
“Her commitment to the Marifah International School has opened doors for 14 Palestinian children, providing them with quality education amidst the challenging backdrop of their homeland, having fled Gaza and the West Bank to Malaysia.”
Not only will this provide the children with proper schooling but will also give them a place to feel safe and supported during this tough time and transition.
“This contribution not only nurtures young minds but also serves as a safe haven for them in a context of protracted displacement. Together, this coordinated effort strengthens our resolve to empower the Palestinian community through education,” they added.
Beauty, brains and a big heart!
It is truly amazing to see how Sabrina has taken her stardom and is doing great things for the community with it. Kudos, Sabrina!
