So, the school holidays officially started last Saturday (25th November) and many parents are taking advantage of this time to bring their kids on a family trip. Plus, many of us also use this time to clear our leave!

However, if you are one of these people travelling through one of our finest airports, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), you better bring your patience along with you because recent reports look pretty bleak.

According to Sinar Harian, it looks like the immigration counters at the departure hall of the airport is experiencing some congestion as super long queues were seen right before the entrance. It certainly doesn’t look good if you are rushing to catch a flight!

Disgruntled travellers were seen lining up at the snaking queues to catch their flights. Looks like a really long wait!

It was reported that the congestion had started at around 8am in the morning and was mainly due to a system problem at the airport. As a result, there were many flight delays happening which just made the passengers even more unhappy.

Apparently, the problem had occurred since last Friday (24th November) but was made even worse with the sudden increase of passengers due to the school holidays. It was not confirmed what the cause of the system error was or when it would be fixed.
