For Work From Home (WFH) parents of young kids, staying home all day can sometimes lead to hilarious misunderstandings about what you actually do for a living!
In a viral post on Threads, Malaysian father @nibaihaqilahh shared a funny yet relatable moment after checking his 7-year-old son’s school biodata book.

“Haha, 6 years of WFH, and suddenly my child labels me as unemployed 😂,” he wrote in his viral post.
Written as “Teacher” for mom, but “None” for dad!
In the photo shared online, the young boy, named Naoq, filled out his personal details neatly in pencil. Under his mother’s occupation (Pekerjaan Ibu), he wrote “Guru” (Teacher).
However, when it came to his father’s occupation (Pekerjaan Bapa), he candidly wrote “tiada” (none/unemployed)!
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the father shared that he and his wife were completely taken by surprise when they flipped through the notebook.
“We were just so shocked and laughed together!”
“Before this, he used to ask his mother “Why do other fathers go to work, but my dad stays at home?”. My wife had already explained it to him, but maybe he just didn’t understand yet!” the dad told WORLD OF BUZZ.

“I’m a Data Consultant, but he’ll correct it to WFH!”
When asked what his actual profession is, the father revealed to WORLD OF BUZZ that he works as a Data Consultant and has been working remotely for the past six years.
After discussing the funny entry with his son, the dad shared that Naoq promises to update the form to reflect his real daily routine!
“He said ok, he will correct it to ‘work from home’!” the father added cheerfully.
