If you’ve been on TikTok recently, you would have noticed the Bentley ASMR trend, where people have been making their own, more hilarious versions of the original video, with whatever vehicle they have available to them.
And while there have been many local, Malaysian versions with Perodua Myvis, Perodua Axias and more, there is one foreign couple who has taken the win!
A UK-based Proton fan, Jon Coupland, took to his TikTok to showcase him and his wife, Amy’s version of the Bentley ASMR video and they used an old, white Proton Saga!
He wrote, “Feel and hear the luxury”.
In the humourous video, Amy could be seen (while Jon filmed) copying the Bentley ASMR model’s words and moves, by whispering ‘Proton’ before tapping the logo on the bonnet of the car.
She then fiddled her fingers on the Saga’s grill and rim before entering the car and giving us all a whiff of nostalgia with the interior.
But honestly, it was her straight face throughout the entire parody video that really got us laughing, especially when she showcased the glove compartment.
If this trend was a competition, as far as we’re concerned, they won!
