Taking to TikTok, this netizen turned tragedy into banter when he recorded this car catching fire on the road up Balik Pulau, Penang, a spot known for its Durian.

With the caption, “Caution, drivers wanting to drive to Balik Pulau, take the Bukit Baru route.”he warned drivers against going up the more scenic route to the location, in fear that the strain may be too much on their vehicle.

“Take necessary precautions and ensure that your vehicle is serviced.”

The comments section blew up following the statement.

“The car is probably heaty because it had too much durian.”

“Locals will never brave Balik Pulau on the weekends. You will be stuck for hours and it will total any car that is unworthy.”

Jokes aside, we sincerely hope that every ends well for those involved!
