With the shortage of supplies like face masks and hand sanitisers and with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, a Filipino man came up with a brilliant way to make some money.
Earlier this month, Rigel Thomas from Cebu City in the Philippines posted on his Facebook page that he created an anti-coronavirus bouquet in honour of Valentine’s Day and wanted to gift the “hygiene kit” to “five lucky girls”.
He said he created the #AntiCoronaBouquets to “provide awareness of the importance of hygiene” and told his followers that he wanted them to be “safe and healthy and virus free”.
“All you need to do to win the Anti-Corona Bouquet is like this post,” he posted.
“Where are my 5 girls at?”
In the bouquet, hand sanitisers, a face mask and antibacterial soaps worth about RM50 are placed among some flowers.
Rigel Thomas said that he created these bouquets to lighten the mood ever since the coronavirus hit the Philippines.
“I find this weirdly beautiful,” a netizen commented.
“Honestly, what is hotter than not getting a deadly infection?” another netizen commented.
On 4th February, he posted several photos of him and the winners of the bouquets.
mission accomplished!

Well, I wouldn’t mind receiving a bouquet like that! Useful and practical.
