It was until recently that I found out there’s actually a chocolate museum in Selangor!

Chocolate Museum @ Kota Damansara is located at Kota Damansara, PJ. Although the exterior doesn’t look as magnificent as the one in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, this museum offers more than just historical figures.

Other than learning about how chocolate is made, you can also participate in making your own chocolate and bring it home. There are chocolate workshops for both adults and children, where you get to learn the basic science of chocolate making, from tempering to moulding as well as presentation.

After visiting the museum, visitors can also purchase freshly produced chocolates from local and international brands at its galleria for a cheaper price.

The best thing about this experience is that Museum 1.0 offers free entry, whereas the interactive Museum 2.0’s tickets are priced at RM5 for adults and RM3 for children. Click here to see the price and details of the chocolate workshops.

The museum also opens all week, so why not plan a sweet family day here? Below are the details:

Address: Chocolate Museum @ Kota Damansara, No. 2 Jalan Teknologi 3/5, Selangor Science Park 1, Kota Damansara 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Operation hours: 10am to 4.30pm
Booking platform: Chocolate Museum’s official website

Have you been here before? How was the experience? Let us know in the comments!
