On 14 October, The Knights Award Season 3 – Global Edition celebrated its latest season in style at the iconic PETRONAS Philharmonic Hall, officiating itself as an international honour that celebrates exceptional individuals and companies who made excellent strides in their respective fields.

Honouring the changemakers of 2024
Founded by Dr Zyro Wong and presented by Mee Hiris China Muslim, along with the support of the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Centre (comprising 56 member countries), the star-studded Ennoblement Ceremony attracted a fair share of VVIPs, diplomats, and industry icons – truly a platform of cross-border excellence!
If we were to name-drop some of the esteemed guests, they’d include:
- Honorary Advisor: YM Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi, Director of iKhasas Group
- Special Advisor: Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ong Tee Keat, Founding President of Malaysia-China Silk Route Business Chamber
- His Royal Highness Prince Norodom Naravong of Cambodia
- General Surapon Tapananont, The Royal Thai Army
- Rizal Nainy, Chief Executive Officer of SME Corp Malaysia
Other industry leaders like Juan Jose Delgado from the European Union and Kelvin Chan from Hong Kong represented the Council of Lords, a distinguished assembly of international leaders who are tasked to uplift the awards.
And to add gravitas to its already glamorous night, The Knights Award invited American pop-rock singer Daniel Powter, best known for his chart-topping hit single Bad Day, to perform for the first time in Malaysia. Powter, whose song has garnered over 600 million streams, was also honoured with The Knights Award for International Timeless Singer of the Year (North America).
The stage was also graced by other notable performers including Lara Maigue, the highly talented soprano and songwriter, Peter Rosalita, the young singing sensation from America’s Got Talent Season 16, and Enkh-Erdene Otgonbaatar, the winner of Mongolia’s Got Talent in 2016.

The Knights Award 2024 Season 3 – Global Edition honoured 44 individuals and companies who have achieved extraordinary accomplishments in their areas of expertise, with the aim of commending them across three award categories according to their grand credentials:
- The Duke Award – The evening’s highest honour recognises industry leaders who embody exceptional character, excellence, and innovation in their industry.
- The Earl Award – This award is for the ones who propel their fields forward, celebrating both individuals and corporations whose outstanding achievements are worth celebrating.
- The Baron Award – This category honours rising stars and powerhouses in their respective fields.
