One common misconception people have about charity and giving back is that it’s only for those who’ve got a lot to spare. But giving back doesn’t necessarily involve money. Sometimes giving back to the community is as simple as giving.

A TikTok video from @saharuddinamirullah shows how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. The video features a cobbler, sitting idle with his phone, indicating a lack of customers. But what comes next is a touching example of compassion.

He takes it upon himself to assist the struggling cobbler, demonstrating that giving back doesn’t always involve grand gestures. Instead, it can be as simple as donating some essential items to ease someone’s burden.

He even took the time to have a conversation with the cobbler, showing a sincere interest in understanding how his business is faring.

Comments poured in from netizens expressing gratitude and appreciation for his act of kindness.
