Being a bus driver is a round-the-clock job, and shuttling people to and from their destinations is pretty much the bread and butter of the job. But this particular man isn’t your usual run-of-the-mill bus driver.

In a recent post from @mickaelaelaine, she found herself in a hilarious situation during her usual journey to work.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, she mentioned that while on her way to work around 6:30 AM, the bus abruptly stopped, leaving her confused. Now, here’s the kicker, the reason for the pit stop was because the driver wanted to tapau food.

“This was actually not the first time I encountered a bus driver stopping to get food. But whenever it happens, I actually find it quite funny.”

This funny situation made her unsure whether to laugh at how strange it was or worry about being late for work.

“My coping mechanism just told me to start recording and laugh it out. There’s nothing I could do about anyways, so I might as well have a good laugh about it.”

Turns out, she wasn’t the only one scratching her head at the situation. Netizens jumped in on the confusion, finding the whole scenario downright hilarious by flooding the comments.

“If it were me, I would have gotten down and tapau the food along with him. But I’d probably tell the driver not to leave without me.”

“I need this driver to be in my area.”

“He should have bought breakfast for everyone on the bus just to keep it on the down-low. I’m joking.”

Just as long as the passengers reach their destination on time, we don’t see any harm in stopping for a refreshment. After all, a dash of humor can turn an ordinary journey into a memorable ride.
