As the cases rise, more and more places are recording Covid-19 positive cases.
A Thai restaurant at Plaza Batai, Damansara has recorded a positive case and they have confirmed it in a statement on 9th November.
The statement reads:
“It has come to our knowledge that we have recorded one Covid-19 positive case and therefore, we will be closed until further notice and are taking strict measures to keep everyone safe. We have arranged to have all our staff to be tested and screened, and all of us will be in strict quarantine.”
They have also asked everyone who visited the restaurant in the past few weeks to undergo testing or self-quarantine just to be safe. They added that they have given KKM their MySejahtera registration number and customers who dined-in in the last two weeks will be contacted by them.
“Our premise will go through full sanitisation and we will only re-open after we can confirm that everything is in order.”
They assure that they have always and will continue to follow all SOPs:
1. Washing hands regularly
2. Daily temperature checks of all our staff, suppliers and patrons
3. Requiring all our staff, suppliers and patrons to wear masks
4. Sanitising all surfaces
They ended the statement by saying,
“This news will hurt our business but we feel that it is our responsibility and we have to take all necessary precautions to break the chain.”
We urge everyone to stay home whenever possible and if you really need to go out, please wear a mask, sanitise your hands often and physically distance yourselves.
