What’s a wedding day without a little surprise? We love a good story of brides and grooms surprising each other with special performances or unexpected acts that add to the magic of the day. And this particular one certainly captured the attention of many netizens online.

In a recent video shared by @gowsealya14, she gives us a glimpse into her big day with a performance that truly stole the show, making it a memorable event for everyone involved.

“Stealing everyone’s hearts”

In the video, the bride can be seen performing an Indian dance with her bridesmaids, 3 of whom are Malays, as she made her grand entrance into the wedding hall.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Gowsealya revealed how she recently tied the knot with her husband, whom she had dated for 3 years, on June 23rd at a wedding hall in Petaling Jaya.

Her husband surprised her with a dance performance as well!

Gowsealya mentioned that she has always loved dancing since she was young, so she decided to surprise her family and friends with a small dance.

“Funny enough, my husband also surprised me with a dance entry after my 2nd song. That was really the best surprise I ever had. He was rather impressed and touched because he always knew I wanted to do something special for him.”

She explained that she came up with the idea for the surprise dance performance during a preparation discussion with her colleagues, who were her bridesmaids.

“One of my Malay friends jokingly suggested that we all should dance. They wanted to support me and make it more memorable for all of us friends.”

“We had fun during our practice”

Gowsealya noted that they all decided to wear the same saree and even took the effort to get Indian accessories such as bangles, hip chains, and more.

“I felt so touched because they really spent a lot on my wedding preparation, from the bride-to-be party to the attire and much more. We practiced for only two days, about 1 hour each day after our working hours at TTDI park.”

She also mentioned how her Malay colleagues were both excited and nervous to dance, as it was their first time attending an Indian wedding and performing in front of a big crowd.

We wish Gowsealya and her husband a long, happy, and fulfilling marriage! May they continue to surprise each other with new joys every day!
