Traffic rules are there for a reason but this group of Singaporean bikers openly defied them when they uploaded videos of them performing dangerous stunts while on Malaysian highways.

The group of bikers identified themselves as Kapcai Singa and had posted a total of 13 videos on their YouTube channel since 2019, reported The Strait Times and eNanyang.

It is said that the group were openly displaying the license plate numbers of their motorcycle and their faces as well while they do their stunts.

In some videos, they were going at least 180KM per hour on the North-South Highway even though the speed limit is set at 110 KM per hour.

On top of them, some were in a “Superman” position where they lie down on their belly and form a straight line parallel to the motorcycle seat.

A biker who wanted to remain anonymous said that he was worried about safety at first but as he did it several times, he was excited by the thrill behind it all.

“Safety is always an issue. We know it’s illegal and that it endangers other road users, but it depends on the traffic conditions, we only do this on clear roads in Malaysia.”

The group’s YouTube channel has been taken down at the time of writing.

Responding to queries by The Strait Times, PDRM has said that they are aware of the group’s activities and information will be supplied to the intelligence unit.

This is not the first time a group of Singaporeans had sped on Malaysian highways; on July 2022, a Singaporean Porsche convoy was spotted driving dangerously on a Malaysian road.

We certainly hope that more active measures will be taken against these traffic rule-breakers so that they will not repeat it again.
