Gentlemen, if you’re single and ready to mingle, this is one of the options you can consider if you’re done with the uncertainties of dating apps. However, you should also make sure you’re financially stable for this.
The Facebook page of B & G Vietnamese Bride Marriage Agency recently shared a few images of a Vietnamese woman, known as Miss Thi who is currently ‘on the hunt’ for a partner. The single lady is looking for a potential partner who is not older than 36 and has a monthly income of SGD4,800 (approximately) RM16,700. The wage is likely to be too high for many people but to be fair, everyone has the right to look for what they desire in life.
“Do not believe others when they tell you to lower your expectations,” the post stated.
The post also reminds the potential seekers to consider marrying a foreign spouse if and only if they’re financially stable because many marriages involving foreigners ‘broke down’ due to financial issues.
“Marry a Singaporean who has a dual income. You will be so much more comfortable with your finances.”
In a conversation with 8World, the founder of the marriage agency, Eric Koh, clarified that the terms of conditions for marrying Miss Thi were set by himself, and not the single lady. Eric has his reasons for the high-income requirement, and it’s to protect the ladies from financial issues that lead to wreckages in a marriage.
“SGD4,800 is not too much. Anything lesser than that and if you only have 1 person’s salary, it’ll be tough to feed the family.”
“It’s not just about the money, it’s your character”
If you’re earning the required amount or more than that, it doesn’t mean you’ve got a ‘clearance’ to marry Miss Phi. Assuming you make it through the income part, Eric would like to speak to you for a ‘screening session.’
“I’ll invite the potential match to my house where we’ll speak for hours. I want to understand him more.”
Eric revealed that he has rejected someone who makes SGD50,000 (approximately RM174,000) monthly due to his attitude.
“He goes to KTV a lot. He just wants to have fun,” he added.
At the time of writing, Eric said that more than 100 men, mostly from Singapore and Malaysia have inquired about Miss Thi.
To all the single men out there, do you have the financial and emotional stability to marry Miss Thi?
