Following the cancellation of Good Vibes Festival 2023 on July 22 (Saturday), Malaysians very much needed an amazing concert to mend the pain of losing out on the festival.
And that amazing concert came in the form of Muse’s electrifying show at Stadium Bukit Jalil on July 29 (Saturday).
The organiser who brought Muse to Malaysia, HELLO UNIVERSE’s founder and CEO, Adam Ashraf Kingsman, took to his Facebook profile to share his thoughts and journey towards the success of MUSE: Will Of The People World Tour 2023 in Kuala Lumpur.
In his post, he explained how he had endured severe anxiety on the night of Muse’s concert, so much so that he missed the show as he was in the medic room.
“Yes, I was sad, I cried, I was disappointed, all because I had waited for this moment to see Muse in front of my eyes. I couldn’t meet Matt and the others even though I had organised it myself. All my efforts of 5 months were in vain because I couldn’t see the results. Because, I don’t even have 1 picture with them,” he wrote.
Despite that, he shared that he was proud to be a part of bringing Muse to Malaysia and hopes to one day be able to watch Muse live.
Many in the comment section comforted him by praising his efforts for making the amazing show a reality
They also brought up multiple foreign acts that Adam should consider bringing to Malaysia next, and 1 band in particular really stood out. My Chemical Romance.
Adam too hinted that he will try to make it happen, with 1 word, “soon“.
“This is the organiser. Please bring MCR after this?”
“MCR on the next list please, brother. I promise I will support.”
“Thanks, brother, for bringing us this amazing experience, please try to bring My Chemical Romance next.”
Other bands that were mentioned include Foo Fighters, System of a Down, Green Day and more!
We genuinely do hope that a My Chemical Romance show in Malaysia will become a reality, to feed our inner emo kid.
