Ordering at restaurants with self-fill menus can get pretty confusing. Some of these menus have so many choices, from starters to desserts, that it’s easy for customers to feel overwhelmed.
In a recent viral video that’s been making rounds online, @lifeastanakwagu and 2 friends were spotted dining at a Thai restaurant in Damansara.
They ordered 28 bowls of noodles!
In the video, after placing their order, they quickly realised they might have made a mistake when the waitress continued to bring bowl after bowl of noodles to their table.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Tommy explained how he and his friends accidentally ended up ordering 28 bowls of noodles. They got confused about how the menu ordering system worked.
They were too stunned to speak
In the video, Tommy shared how he and his friends were left with no choice but to finish all 28 bowls they mistakenly ordered.
“We had a hunch that we might mess up the order, but we didn’t realise the extent of our mistake until we saw the number of bowls heading our way.”
He also mentioned they were from Sabah, visiting Kuala Lumpur, and it was their 1st time dining at the eatery.
This video has garnered 2.9M views and 156K likes as at time of writing!
Netizens were amused with the situation, which prompted them to flood the comment section with their reactions!
“Despite the small portion size, just 4 bowls are plenty to fill you up.”
“I’ve had a similar experience myself, but it was because I didn’t pay enough attention to the menu. I intended to jot down table number 8, but accidentally ended up ordering 8 bowls of ayam penyet rice. I had to take some of them to go.”
“Don’t worry, it’s not every day you accidentally order 28 bowls.”
