When ordering food through a food delivery platform, we sometimes like to have some special requests such as for the restaurant to make it less spicy or include no vegetables. However, how many requests are allowed before it starts to get a little excessive?

In a viral picture on social media, a woman decided to make full use of the additional request for her order by giving a lengthy list of dos and don’ts for a plate of fried rice.

According to a photo shared by Oh! Media on Facebook, the fried rice order was made to an unnamed restaurant, but below the order came a long description including instructions to the restaurant on how the fried rice should be prepared.

The requests include the customer telling the restaurant to wash the wok first and use only fresh oil to make the fried rice. She then requested for the fried rice not to have any vegetables, chicken, squid, prawns, egg, soy sauce, or belacan. She said that she only wanted it to be cooked with garlic, onions, bird-eye chilis, and some salt and sugar.

To conclude her request, she asked for them to make it extra spicy before apologising and saying that the specific requests were because she had just given birth and was currently in confinement.

The post has since gone viral with netizens giving their thoughts on the matter. A majority of people believe that her requests were over the top and unnecessary.

“Might as well eat plain rice.”

Some users questioned if she was even in confinement as her requests for extra spicy and the order of the iced tea are not usually what new mothers should be consuming after giving birth.
