Many Malaysians are struggling to get through the Covid-19 pandemic, due to the restrictions that are affecting their businesses and livelihoods.

Hence, the least we could all do is work together to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set in place by the authorities so that the Covid-19 numbers will decrease and the restrictions can be lifted.

Yet, there will always be some who can’t seem to follow the rules. The Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS Facebook page took to their profile to showcase a woman in Penang who was out and about despite the fact that she had a pink quarantine bracelet on.

They wrote, “This afternoon (4 November), a woman was arrested by RELA members when she was discovered wearing a pink bracelet while at the Sri Aman Complex in Bayan Lepas. RELA members acted to detain the woman and contacted the Health Office. The Health Officer arrived shortly after for further action.”

It’s sad that there are still people who refuse to follow the SOPs, as their actions can effect countless others who are patiently waiting for the restrictions to be lifted so that they can go back to building their livelihoods.

We genuinely hope that the authorities take the appropriate action against her so that she never repeats her mistake again and so that others will think twice before breaking the Covid-19 SOPs.

Covid-19 is no joke and many have already lost their lives because of it. The least we can do is cooperate for you’ll never know how many lives you’re actually affecting.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
