Rapid KL is Offering Free Rides for Differently Abled People From 4th to 12th December

In conjunction with International Day of Disabled Persons on 3 December, Rapid KL is offering complimentary rides to people with disabilities!

The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) took to their Facebook page to showcase the special initiative, ‘Leadership and Participation of the Disabled Towards the Covid-19 Endemic’.

They wrote,

“In conjunction with International Day of Disabled Persons 2021, Rapid KL is pleased to offer FREE TRAVEL to disabled people (along with their assistants/guides) from 4 to 12 December 2021.”

So, for nine days, those with disabilities will be able to take complimentary trips on LRTs, MRTs, BRTs and Monorails.

In order to qualify for this offer, you must show your Disability (OKU) Card from the Social Welfare Department and your guide’s MyKad to the officer at the counter, where you will be given a token for your complimentary trips.
